Udupi city in Karnataka is famous for the Krishna temple and Udupi restaurants (all over the world named as such) famous for mouth watering idli-vada-sambhar delicasies. The coffee here is awesome too!

Guarding the entrace of the Krishna temple are these giant mannequins of the guardsmen (also called "Tattirai").

This chariot below is hauled by hundreds of devotees for weekly processions of lord Krishna's idol, around the temple.

The giant wooden wheels is a nice sight indeed!

This temple was built in the 13th century so has a lot of history behind it. Another temple adjacent to this one, called the Anantheshwar temple is about 1000 years old!
